Casey Abrams – 1991
Haley Reinhart – 1991
Jacob Lusk – 1987
James Durbin – 1989
Karen Rodriguez – 1989
Lauren Alaina – 1994
Naima Adedapo – 1984
Paul McDonald – 1984
Pia Toscano – 1988
Scotty McCreery – 1993
Stefano Langone – 1989
Thia Megia – 1995
Those are the Birth Years of this year’s contestants. What do you think they’ll sing???
Here’s what I would love to hear them perform….
Casey Abrams – Touch of Madness by Aldo Nova
Why: Touch of Madness would let Casey have the enough opportunity to have his own touch of madness and be somewhat tame at the same time.
Haley Reinhart – Get Here by Oleta Adams
Why: I want Haley to be able to do a more intimate performance with just a spot light on her showcasing her big voice.
Jacob Lusk – Angel by Aerosmith
Why: Would love to hear Jacob showcase his incredible vocal talents in a more rock type song that would be conducive to his desire for the vocal gymnastics.
James Durbin – Mixed Emotions by The Rolling Stones
Why: Mixed Emotions is just a good song –LOL.
Karen Rodriguez – Cuts Both Ways by Gloria Estefan
Why: I can’t help but want to hear her sing songs by Latin Female artists.
Lauren Alaina – Come To My Window by Melissa Etheridge
Why: Well apparently there’s a rumor someone may be performing something by Etheridge and it seemed appropriate.
Naima Adedapo – Smooth Operator by Sade
Why: Naima has a unique presence on stage would love to see what she does with a song that in my mind is more subdued.
Paul McDonald – Dancing In The Dark by Bruce Springsteen
Why: I simply thought it would be ironic because I feel like Paul dances like no one’s looking almost as if her were dancing in the dark – LOL.
Pia Toscano – If We Hold On Together by Diana Ross
Why: I just feel Pia is going to pull off another incredible ballad.
Scotty McCreery – I Don’t Love You by Conway Twitty
Why: A country song for a country guy.
Stefano Langone – If You Don’t Know Me By Now by Simply Red
Why: Stefano has a a great range to his voice would love to see him perform a ballad.
Thia Megia – The Promise by Tracy Chapman
Why: Would love Thia to do a performance with just her voice and someone accompanying her with a guitar.
