So after a rousing 30 Million votes the results are in and we have our first bottom three of Season 10. The night started off with the results shows ever expected group number which just happened to be a Michael Jackson Medley. There were definitely some stand out vocals in the group such as Ashthon, Karen, Naima, Pia and Haley. However, that wouldn’t save any of these ladies from tonight’s results. The first member of the bottom three was Karen Rodriguez who is incredibly talented but had an off night last night. Then we here Adam Lambert’s Unplugged version of Aftermath which is his newest song. I’m not that impressed by it. It’s been so long since seeing Adam on the Idol stage I just kind of felt like he was trying to impersonate James Durbin-LOL. Even though it’s sort of the other way around, but James himself is crazy talented so I wouldn’t dare say anything negative about him because after his McCartney performance I am totally won over. Lambert is followed by Ryan announcing that Ashthon and Haley will be joining Karen in the bottom three. All three girls are talented and unique in each their own way. It will be sad to see one go, but someone does have to be eliminated but first some Diddy Dirty Money with Coming Home. They are going on tour so check the dates [here]. So after the contestant’s performances of their own personal idol’s songs they learn a big lesson that right song choice is crucial in this competition, right Ashthon? It was during last night’s performances that Ashthon chose a less familiar song by her idol Diana Ross and delivered and average vocal. Thus sealing her fate as a member of this week’s bottom three and being eliminated. Goodbye Ashthon I know you have a bright future in the music industry but you are just not the American Idol. Tonight we are also left to question the health status of Casey Abrams. This is the second time this season he has been hospitalized. Will this effect his status in the competition going forward???

Download Adam Lambert's Aftermath Remix [here].

Proceeds go to the Trevor Project.
