Back in 2004 Kalan Porter was announced as the winner of Canadian Idol Season 2. His first single Awake in A Dream went 8x Platinum and his first album 219 Days went 2x Platinum. His sophomore album Wake Up Living released in 2007 it to going 2x Platinum as its predecessor. Kalan just recently updated his blog apologizing about the delayed release of his third album.
